Over the last decade Mitch Coleborn has remained one of the world’s most exciting surfers not on the World Tour. He’s a staple in every credible high-performance movie that gets released and still holds the attention of grommets everywhere. A lifelong member of the Volcom team, Mitch made his mark on the surfing world claiming the 2007 Australasian Junior Series and has continued to scalp his opposition at events all over the world ever since. In 2013, Coleborn took out the Quiksilver Saquarema Prime, edging past a handful of the world’s best in the process, including 2014 World Champ Gabriel Medina. No more than a week later, he took down 2015 World Champ Adriano De Souza with a near-perfect heat total of 19.33. De Souza scored 5.77.
